Our Architecture and Building Engineering Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Project Engineer. This role may sit in either Denver, CO or Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing technical expertise, oversight, and leadership to the mechanical project team
• Attending client meetings
• Performing construction phase services
• Mentoring less experienced staff
• Assisting with business development
• Travel and entrance onto military bases and airports will be required for this position

The successful candidate must have all of the following:

• A bachelor’s degree (or higher) in mechanical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 8+ years of relevant mechanical engineering experience
• A PE license in any state with the ability to obtain in additional states
• Be able to pass a background check to allow entrance onto military bases and airports

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• Designing hot water, chilled water and condenser water systems
• Designing VAV, Geothermal and/or VRF systems
• Designing and specifying of DDC control systems
• Designing mechanical systems for Federal Government projects
• Sustainable design
• Designing steam systems
• Providing commissioning services
• Designing plumbing systems

Salary Range: starts at $100,000 and up – Actual compensation may vary due to other factors such as: experience, skill set or location.
