Job Overview

Synopsys of Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be able to recruit, audition, train and equip a worship team that can play and perform all types of music to enhance the worship service and reflect the practice of passionate worship.
• The Worship Arts Director will help program and lead the 11:00 a.m. Sunday worship service including but not limited to visuals, lyrics and publications
• Create schedules as needed for worship teams (vocalists and instrumentalists) and/ or volunteer worship leaders.
• He/She will lead all rehearsals and Sunday morning warm-up/review for the worship team to be complete by 10:50 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
• The Worship Arts Director will network and practice the ministry of invitation making un-churched contacts to help grow the church through evangelism and music ministry to help bring families into the life of the congregation for spiritual growth and discipleship.

Job Description

Qualifications:

• A Bachelors Degree in Music Production or related technologies is preferred.
• Experience with audio, media, instruments, management and team work.
• The candidate must profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, have a daily devotional life including daily scripture reading, be an active witness in the disciple making process through word and lifestyle.
• Have a willingness to work and cooperate with the worship team and be coachable under the Lead Pastor.
